Note: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT if you want speed. This product takes hours for best results! If you want to quickly and forcefully remove dried silicone glue (or 100% silicone caulk) from what it is adhered, then use a jack hammer (lol). But you will therefore destroy whatever is underneath. AEROLARRI Silicone Remover is a specialty product used for instances when you don't want to make a single scratch or even a swirl-mark on the underlying surface- AND remove 100% of the silicone glue. With this product the user can remove every molecule of silicone glue, chemically. This is the only consumer product on Earth capable of chemically removing "cured," AKA, "dried" or "hardened" silicone glue or adhesive. Removing the silicone takes a long time, (multiple hours- while you do something else) and it takes multiple applications for moderately thick glue. We recommend you cut away as much glue bulk as possible before use. This product is now being made available to the consumer for the first time. Before, it was only used by NASA and other major aerospace companies. The only reason this product was developed (for AEROLARRI purposes), is to remove silicone glue from Lamborghini's paint without damage. Well, obviously, it can be used for any other situation as well. Therefore, I'm exclusively bringing this product to market. Note that on the label, it says you should wait 20-30 minutes. I will say that you won't get good results in that time for cured silicone. I'll update that on the next labels. You will want to wait 2-3-4-5-6-7-8 hours to see great results on fully dried silicone. To find the right duration, keep checking by mixing it around slightly. 20-30 minutes will work fine for uncured silicone, but that's far more easy to remove, and not the huge problem. Ok, consumer education rant over. No buyer has ever used this product yet, but I just want to set the expectations and benefits. Be sure to test it on a hidden spot. Carry on to the standard description below:
AEROLARRI Silicone Remover will "melt away" that impossibly strong cured silicone glue WITHOUT needing to violently scrape away and scratch the surface of whatever is underneath. This is the first time this proprietary silicone removing paste is available to consumers. It was previously used mostly by NASA. It is literally the best stuff in the world to remove cured silicone and silicone glue. Just spread it on, wait, and the silicone will dissolve into the paste. Repeat the process if necessary for larger amounts of silicone. It is recommended to cut away as much silicone as possible before using AEROLARRI Silicone Remover.
Of course, this also works for basically every silicone glue removal application. So that means AEROLARRI Silicone Glue Remover will work on most every silicone adhesives, silicone sealants. Just note, that if it doesn't work, you're not putting it on cured silicone residue, lol. It's something else.
Story: Before I invented the Intermediary Protective Bonding Layer (IPBL) for easily removing car parts, I "went down the rabbit hole" learning everything and testing every silicone glue removal system. Even ones with 5 stars and all the "life hacks" on YouTube did nothing compared to AEROLARRI Silicone Glue Remover. Aside from NASA, this stuff was used by certain aerospace companies- the details of which, I can't tell you... But not anymore. It's available for everyone now as AEROLARRI Silicone Glue Remover. And it will work great for removing excess silicone glue off of AEROLARRI parts. Keep in mind that if you glue an AEROLARRI part using the IPBL, unless you also wrap the part with clear bra the side touching the part will have silicone glue residue when you decide to remove the part. I recommend you clean that up with AEROLARRI Silicone Glue remover if you want to reuse it, sell it, or are buying a used part. I originally intended to use this directly on Lamborghini and Corvette paint, so that should be a good indication of the quality.
Benefits of AEROLARRI Silicone Remover for Glue, Adhesive, RTV Silicone, Caulk, Sealants, Spray
- It actually works.
- Almost odorless, and the faint smell is actually fairly nice
- Eco-friendly
- Only flammable from direct fire
- Solvent-free
- It is a paste, so it won't spill and it will stay on whatever surface you apply it to, such as walls.
- It can be cleaned with regular water
- Safe on metal, glass, virtually all plastics
Directions:
1) (Optional, but recommended) Cut away the bulk of the Silicone if there is a lot and it's easy to do.
2) Put a thick glob of AEROLARRI Silicone Remover paste on the silicone and spread it around.
3) Leave it for 20 to 30 minutes wet silicone, 2 to 8 hours for cured (dried) silicone and then the silicone will "melt" off and dissolve into the AEROLARRI Silicone Remover paste. You may want to agitate the paste when it's on the silicone by stirring the paste with a paperclip or something disposable at any time. You can leave it on the silicone overnight too, but just don't let it dry. It will only dry after a few days.
4) Remove the paste. Repeat steps 2 & 3 again until it's all gone.
Notes and Warnings:
- Wear gloves and eye wear. It can irritate the skin and eyes. Do not ingest. Do not inhale.
- Don't mix it with water or anything else, or it won't work.
