The Two-Faced Easy-Buy section above takes all the research and guesswork about fitment out for C8 Corvette owners. At the bottom, just choose your style for each side, finish/color, size and click buy (Quantity of 1 set). No offsets, or other measurements to worry about. Get the perfect fitment with a couple clicks. Customers always have a hard time deciding between styles, now they don't need to choose! Just get both! But only one color and finish is available.
The price of these true forged wheels are for a full set of 4. Yes, it's an absurd value. What you input on this page is what will be delivered. It is just that easy! Even with the Two-Faced sets, these wheels still contribute to the limited edition count with each set's center cap engraved with the edition number, like 1 of 299, and 2 of 299. Except in this case, only 2 of the 4 wheels in a set are subtracted from the 299. And the remaining 2 are allocated to the next Two-Faced buyer of that style.

Two-Faced wheel sets allow you to enjoy a different style on each side of your car. You can only see one side of a car at a time. Even the HoloSpect invention in the AEROLARRI app is premised on that fact when it spawns only 2 wheels in augmented reality. They are the same size in every way for both sides. Only the styles are different. Real-world testing has shown that it works perfectly for the C8 Corvette. Since all our wheels are true forged, each wheel for each customer gets its own CAD file which the CNC machine then cuts out. The edition numbers like 1 of 299 and the other engraving options alone are proof of that. But we might as well take that customization many steps further, by having different styles being an option for each side. As you’d imagine, all the work and to achieve this doubles, and in many cases quadruples. Further, it becomes 4 individual wheel orders, so it’s the opposite of a quantity discount. So all that means an extra, but manageable cost increase for a Two-Faced set. All our standard sizes and colors can be made into Two-Faced sets, but all must be the same color and finish. The first set of wheels AEROLARRI ever made was also a Two-Faced set, but in color only. That car went on to win 3rd place in the Corvettes at Carlisle show among 5,000 other Corvettes. After that experience we concluded, that manufacturing different colors at scale was impossible. But why give up? Let’s do different styles. This is actually possible despite the costs.
Testing the Two-Faced wheels with Stock Z51 Suspension (Before Lowering)
Testing:
Testing was a blast! All these pictures are proof of that! We got our first C8 Corvette right out of the wrapper with 4 miles on it and immediately installed the Two-Faced wheel set shown. For over 700 miles to date, we tested every conceivable situation, from launch control, rain, braking, modes, corners and speeds. Everything was perfect. You can steer with your pinky finger at any speed. We even consulted with Alex Peitz from Peitz Performance Tunes to get his informal thumbs up given his extensive work building Emelia Hartford’s C8 Corvette.
But why even test? Testing was important because the different styles have very slightly different weight, (unsprung) and it’s distributed in different areas of the wheel. So the moment of inertia, of the wheel is slightly different for each side. Note that when adding a tire that difference is roughly cut in half. With the tire on this setup tested has a total difference of 2.9% between each side. This is similar to your tire shop adding wheel weights to balance your wheels. Is it enough to worry about? No, but we test it anyway to be sure for our customers. This is a new concept so it must be vetted. The ultimately logic of why the does work is that because all cars are designed to have passengers. And the weight of a passenger on one side simulates the same results. Although, in this case of a Two-Faced set, you passenger might be the weight of a small dog. So while we could go into heavy physics, this is a much easier concept to grasp. There is a gyroscopic affect too, but this only comes into play if you do a U-turn at 250 mph. And if you try that, then you have bigger problems.

We at AEROLARRI are taking a page out of the C8 Corvette’s strategy book and changing the wheel game with a new selection of an absurd value. Most all true forged wheels cost $6,000 to $12,000 per set since they are CNC milled from a solid block aluminum and take a long time to make. Utilizing unique digital abilities and efficient logistics, AEROLARRI is able to deliver the same true forged wheel that’s completely CNC’d from a solid block of aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum at a fraction of the normal cost. This includes all-new designs and pioneering engineering such as the Multicave (multiple concavities which aid in lateral stability). AEROLARRI also is launching the “Structure Staggered” wheels category, such as the Hurricane style. Structure Staggered is a utility patent pending set of wheels where the rears have more structures on the face to aid the increased lateral and torsional demands of high-power cars. Reinventing the wheel is what AEROLARRI does. It has been doing it for nearly a decade and includes the ShockWheel, RimWings and the augmented reality HoloSpect.

A little back story. Chet Baigh invented and built the HoloSpect which uses manufacturers' own CAD files to display wheels in augmented reality on their own cars. All the brands loved it, but nobody other than one provided the files. Why? Because most budget wheel companies don't have their own CAD files. They make them overseas for dirt cheap and never needed the files. However, the premium US brands’ true forged wheels are made in the USA and they do have good value, like a car made in Italy. We will always favor those products, but the market was asking for wheels which cost less than $6,000-to-$12,000 per set. Since the HoloSpect business plan was to add more brands' wheels endlessly using their CAD files, like magazine ads, that plan needed to change. AEROLARRI thus dug past the rabbit hole and found the CAD files from the actual manufacturer overseas and has now designed lots of unique and innovative styles therefrom. The only way to proceed was to create an entirely new wheel brand. And so AEROLARRI Wheels was born. For such low cost, the buyer generally needs to understand that delivery takes a while, and the wheels are completely custom made to order. They generally take 7-11 weeks for delivery. But since any true forged wheels take 6 to 12 weeks for delivery regardless of the source, it’s virtually no sacrifice at all. One bonus is that buyers will get pictures of their completed wheels before the long shipping time by sea.
Limited Edition to X of 299 sets – Another AEROLARRI first - Each AEROLARRI wheel style also pioneers Limited Edition sets. This means that the unique number of each customers’ set is CNC-engraved in the center cap. So you may get “1 of 299”, “35 of 299” all the way to the end of the edition at “299 of 299.” This too is only possible due to the fact each set is custom CNC’d as a true forged wheel. For reference, there are 1,000 more Ferrari F40s made than any first edition AEROLARRI Wheel style.
C8 Fitment is Perfected. Perfectly Flush. No Rub. Perfect speedometer reading verified by GPS. Front Lift compatible. No research is required. Non-C8 wheel buyers also get perfect fitment. The standard checkout page allows you to dial in the exact measurements you choose for your specific car. This includes front and rear offsets, widths and diameters. However, the buyer is responsible for ensuring proper fitment. What you enter there is exactly what will be delivered. AEROLARRI Wheels is not responsible for incorrect entries or improper research.
These prices and designs are made possible by using some of the same digital engineering tactics of the U.S. Air Force’s new “eSeries” of aircraft. For the first time ever, the USAF will begin designating planes based on how they were designed (with the “e” meaning digitally engineered), versus their role alone. It’s really that substantial. The first of the USAF’s ePlanes and eSatellites is Boeing’s new eT-7A Red Hawk trainer jet. These engineering methods not only allow for next-gen products, but also far lower costs. And we are passing these cost savings onto the customer.
