Both Polished and Brushed finishes can be "Glazed" with a variety of brand new colors. It is a 2-step process. First is the brushing or polishing by hand (videos below). Then is a powder coating of these glazes by hand. Both processes are tricky and done by highly skilled artisans. If you look 1 inch away, you will see elements of this hand-made process. Similar to seeing brush strokes on a real painting. The results are worth it- they are SPECTAULAR.

Polished: It is the same metal surface finish as dinner silverware, but on aluminum. It is a multi-stage process that is more involved than brushing. It requires a great deal of skill and sweat. A Glaze is effectively a tinted clear coat (actually a powder coat that lasts forever and requires no special maintenance) over a Polished metal surface. The Glaze can be any named color through which you see the actual metal surface. For example, Black Ghost Glaze Polished (Our most popular color despite the cost) is a colorless Glaze which is like looking at the silverware through sunglasses (the Glaze). See the hand-polishing process before the Glaze is applied in the video below:
Brushed: It is the same metal surface as a stainless steel refrigerator. A Glaze is effectively a tinted clear coat over a Brushed metal surface. The Glaze can be any named color through which you see the actual metal surface. See the hand-brushing process before the Glaze is applied in the video below:
Polished Vs. Brushed is shown below side by side. The Polished is more Chrome-like. Both of these wheels are dirty in the pictures, so the difference is more muted. But it gives a general idea of the difference. The Silver car is Black Ghost Glaze POLISHED and the Blue car is Black Ghost Glaze Brushed.
Black Ghost Glaze Polished is the most popular finish. For those who want a black color they can actually see, this is the perfect solution. Also, for those who want chrome without it being too much, this is the modern solution. You will never get bored of this color (or any Glaze) because it is always changing like a chameleon based on the environment colors, lighting, time of day, brightness, use of flash, and angle of view.

Graphene Glaze Brushed is another popular finish. Graphene Glaze (for both Brushed and Polished) is a shade lighter the Black Ghost Glaze. Still it is the perfect finish for someone interested in a black which shows the wheel details. The Graphene Glaze works well with the Brushed since the Brushed reflects light a more diffuse way. It is basically the same as your stainless steel refrigerator. Graphene Glaze also has chameleon like properties and will change color based on the environment and lighting. Mike M. who owns this Rapid Blue C8 says he is stopped 3-5 times per week by people to ask if the wheels are made of carbon fiber.

UFO Glaze Brushed has all the same properties as Graphene Glaze Brushed, but is a shade lighter. UFO Glaze is available in Polished also. It is the perfect finish if you want a bit of everything from a wheel finish. The UFO Glaze works well with the Brushed since the Brushed reflects light a more diffuse way. It is basically the same as your stainless steel refrigerator. UFO Glaze also has chameleon like properties and will change color based on the environment and lighting.

Chrome Ultra Polished - If you want Chrome, this is the solution. Real Chrome isn't technically out of style; instead, real chrome is simply out of supply globally. From auto manufacturers and aftermarket wheel brands). Real chrome turns out to be a terrible idea because it will corrode within a year or two unless it's babied to an uncommon extent. Thus, most all auto and wheel manufacturers have stopped making anything with real chrome after years of upset customers. AEROLARRI's Chrome Ultra Polished finish is a 2 stage process whereby the bare aluminum is polished to an extreme level - an "Ultra" level of polishing until it looks like "Chrome." Then, a clear coat of powder coat is applied over its entirety to seal in the delicate reflective surface forever. NOTE- Custom center cap engraving colors are unavailable for Chrome Ultra Polished. The finish is too smooth for the paint to adhere well without intense effort. So unlike these pictures with black letter engravings, the finish will now only come with no color. Bare aluminum will be shown.

Stealth Black Gloss & Matte - Stealth Black is not a full black. It is designed to be a similar color to the B2 Bomber. Thus, one can imagine black with a little grey mixed in. Making these in Matte amplifies the lightness.

Stealth Black Matte: Matte will look lighter in certain lighting scenarios.
Machined Face - The Machined Face option takes a completed wheel with any color and finish choice and brushes off the top-most surfaces only. The remaining *side* surfaces are that main color choice. The process involves putting the wheel on a lathe and drawing a bit across the surface as the wheel spins. Thus, all deeper elements are left untouched and the original color. This is important to visualize for certain wheel styles.

Solid Carbon Fiber Center Caps
The AEROLARRI carbon fiber center caps aren't only real carbon fiber, but they are totally solid carbon fiber from the front all the way to the back side. It is probably the thickest piece of carbon fiber most have ever seen. It is composed of around 40 sheets of carbon fiber stacked on top of each other to create this thickness. As such, it is an actual weight savings for those who want the lightest wheels and unsprung weight. It is actually functional, as well as beautiful.

Center Cap Engraving Color Option List
We were never going to add this option because the end goal was to match each of the OEM colors. Having done it for Rapid Blue shown here, it was determined that trying to accurately match an OEM paint code with a powder coat is a nightmare. However, enough people recently asked in conversation for a generic red or yellow etc, that it was worth adding anyway. Also, at the time there were no examples of what they would really be. But since the lettering is relatively small, a perfect match isn’t totally necessary, and is suitable for other car brands. And most importantly, the clients considered it a nice custom touch. The artists carefully paint each letter by hand, so there is a minor cost. Here are some examples which have been made thus far. Note the Rapid Blue is called Rapid Blue (vs. just Blue) in the menu because that’s the only one we really matched.
